Revolver Bandroom

Due to popular demand, award-winning singer-songwriter Morgan Evans will return to the Revolver Bandroom on Saturday 12 September.

The show will be Morgan’s only Melbourne performance and comes on the heels of a rowdy, packed out concert at the same venue this past Friday. The gig drew die hard fans and curious inner-city locals to see the reigning CMC Oz Artist of the Year blitz through songs from his two hit EPs and current chart-topping debut album, including current four-week #1 ‘Like A Tornado’, breaking the previous attendance record for a country show at Revolver. Some fans in the crowd traveled all the way from Newcastle to attend the show.

Morgan’s live performances have become some of the most talked about of any young Australian star this year. His dramatic nighttime main stage set at the CMC Rocks the Hunter festival this March saw him battle through lightning and rain to deliver an electrifying set, even while blood dripped from his forehead. More recently, he rocked the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage at CMA Music Fest – the world’s biggest country music festival – and performed to thunderous applause at the legendary Grand Ole Opry radio show in Nashville, winning a host of new American fans.

Morgan Evans’ debut self-titled album is out now through Warner Music Australia. The current single ‘Like A Tornado’ is spending its fifth consecutive week at #1 on the Country Music Channel Top 30 video chart.
